The number one thing people need to know

So I sat this morning with full intent on creating tik tok videos and fun adds, etc, and the Lord weighed on me to share Mathew 28. I read it, and felt the heaviness of those words once more, but didn’t understand exactly what the meaning or plot of it all was. So, I hesitated, and put the images and video aside. Tonight at @Ghost North Church in Okc, the worship team was on stage, and the Holy Spirit hit so hard I had tears. I saw and felt the full meaning of Gods sacrifice for ME. then, the preacher got on stage and began talking, and at one point said something about John 3:16 and how it’s the best verse to tell people because everyone needs to know the story of Jesus dying and coming back to life on the third day for our sins. And right there, I knew the plot. See, not only has God created YOU AND I, He knew we would sin before He ever created us, and still, he did. Then, as if that isn’t enough, He sent His only son, to the earth, where He would be treated horribly by Gods creations- the same creations He was being put through such torture and pain and sorrow to save. And Jesus still followed through as His father wished, keeping His eyes up to God for guidance and protection, bringing so many people to God on the way with miracle after miracle. And for all of the miracles He performed, He was nailed to a cross with a wreath of thorns shoved into his scull until they broke the skull inside, and left in the sun to suffer until finally He was allowed to die… and then, oh ya, there’s more! He rose and ascended, and is our ticket into the pearly gates! And how do we thank Him? By continuously forgetting to serve and worship Him and give praise, as He’s asked. We push Him away when we need him the most, and then whine that He’s not there for us. And, even then, He reaches down and grabs us up by our shirt tail and puts us back on the path He created for us. Why? Because HE LOVES US! He loves us that much!
Anyway, back to the point… But God was with Jesus, every step of the way, giving Him strength to draw off of. See, just like Jesus, God is there with us through the good times and the bad, and even the horrible times you don’t think you’ll ever get over. That’s right! God is there. So remember, like Jesus, to pray! Give it all to Him, and then have full faith the Lord will handle it all, and go on about your business and don’t give it a second thought. Then, when you do think of it, or when the devil tries to make you doubt, and he will… you can remember to hit your knees and praise! Praise Him for handling it! Praise Him for taking care of you and protecting you, and for warding all evil off of you, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The more confidence you get, the more God blesses you and answers all your prayers! Remember to leave everything and bring no anger or unfinished disagreements undone before you come to Him. Then, after you have made amends, EVEN IF YOU WERE IN THE RIGHT, quickly do whatever it takes to settle the dispute before it gets to court. Surely you didn’t read that right, you say… but yes! In Mathew 5:25 it states just that. This was part of Jesus’s sermon on the mount, and simply was to bring people to work things out without legal action. His entire speech was meant to teach us the golden rule- Love one another with all of your heart and all of your soul, as we love him. Even if they are wrong, forget it and just love. And if you are wrong, be quick to apologize and make it right.
So let’s remember John 3:16, and the book of Mathew. The sacrafice and ressurection of Jesus Christ, for you and I, to give us all forgiveness for EVERYTHING WE HAVE DONE. EVERYTHING. Let’s give our God a shout out for being the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, and He CHOSE to create it all… for us.
