The devil tries to lie to us and tell us we are 'over the hill' and leads us to believe the Lord doesn't have anything else for us to do aside from just praise and worship and faith until He finally comes to get us and take us home. I have news for you. The devil is a LIAR! We are in our prime, darlings, and even when we get up in the years, that only makes us more valuable.

Life in our prime
As we grow older, or, grow up since we aren't old but we aren't young and clueless anymore either, we enter into another chapter in our life, with new obstacles, fears, and anxieties. We might even be stuck in a place where we don't know exactly what God's plan is, and sometimes fail to see this transitional period as a time of believing there is no place for us in this world instead of seeing we are forgetting to trust in the Lord. We often fail to realize God still has work for us to do. Being seasoned comes with knowledge and experience, and the chance to do some of the greatest work of all! It is the duty of the elders to educate the younger generations with God's grace and Love, and teach them how to get to salvation.
WHY IN BLUE BLAZES DID IT TAKE US THIS LONG TO LEARN THAT THE SECRET TO LIFE IS SIMPLE: IT'S GOD. IT'S LEARNING HOW TO FULLY TURN TO GOD FOR EVERYTHING AND TO PUT EVERYTHING IN HIS HANDS WITH FULL FAITH. IT'S TO LEAVE IT AND GO ON ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS, KNOWING IT WILL BE DONE, AND EVEN WHEN EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE FALLING APART, TO HAVE FAITH ENOUGH TO PRAISE THE LORD WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART.

The kids are all grown and out of the house, so now what? Often couples have to find themselves again and grow confidence in a new identity other than parent. It's a brand new chapter of life that we must jump in with both feet, and full of faith! Stay in the word and on your knees, praying, and just allow the Lord to do His goodness without fear or worry, and dancing praise.
